This is not a disciplinary measure, but it is done with the student's best interests in mind -- especially those where higher levels are concerned. A student who misses the beginning exercises runs the risk of injury by not being properly warmed up. Please make sure the student understands this. --Students must make every effort to be on time and attend every class --We will make every effort to have classes begin and end on time Photos and videos: By signing the registration form, you give full rights to the Charlene's School of Dance and its staff, to use photo or video images of you or your child to use for promotional purposes of the studio, only. Photos will not be used for any other purpose. Insurance: All students are required to be covered by their own insurance, and if an injury occurs, it is understood that the students and their family are responsible for any medical cost. You dance at your own risk. Recital: The recital is in June and dress rehearsal in the same week. Enrollment:
As with any private school, camp, etc., monthly tuition remains FULL AMOUNT DUE regardless private or regularly scheduled class lessons missed due to holidays, snow days, etc. If you cannot adhere to this or other policies, please do not sign up. Enrollment includes 10 months of class instruction. Consistent participation is encouraged. IF A STUDENT MUST WITHDRAWAL, PLEASE NOTIFY US IN WRITING. Tuition will continue to accrue until notification is received. We cannot accept any student if they only want to try it for a month or two. A student in the study of an art form cannot decide if they will enjoy it without diligently applying themselves for an adequate period of time. By making this commitment your child will learn the importance of accepting responsibility and finishing something they start. We cannot accept the “I CAN ALWAYS QUIT” attitude. We feel the policies are imperative to the effectiveness of our program. Read them carefully.
